We know that due to the complexity of the law of decompression and evaporation of high temperature and high pressure fluid in the regulator, there is a certain difficulty in the design of high temperature regulator.
High pressure differential high temperature regulating valve design
The most fundamental difference between the high temperature and high pressure difference regulating valve and the ordinary globe valve and regulating valve is that the pressure reduction ratio is large, and the phase transition is generated when the high temperature and high pressure fluid flows through the throttling element.
When the back pressure after the throttling channel drops to 0.5 ~ 0.6 times of the inlet pressure, then reducing the back pressure has no effect on the flow rate, and the flow rate is called the critical flow rate.
High temperature regulating valve
The minimum cross section of the throttling channel is called the critical section, where the water mixture reaches two crossoids, which is between tens of meters per second and hundreds of meters, depending on the local pressure of the fluid, the steam content of the steam, and the flow pattern.
Therefore, in the design of the regulating valve, when the multi-stage throttling is used and the bending pressure is 6.4MPa, the pressure through the regulating valve is reduced to 0.6MPa.
